Defensive Low Light Handgun 1/16/21
Description
Have you ever fired your handgun in the pitch dark? According to statistics you’re significantly more likely to get into a self defense situation in a low-light environment, but how often do you actually train with a flashlight? Do you carry one with you daily?
With the current state of things in the world it’s more important than ever to understand that you are your own first responder. Rather than figuring things out on the fly when it matters most, come out and get training from those who have been-there-done-that and can share first hand experience.
This course will focus on applying defensive techniques with an emphasis on concealed carry but OWB is acceptable as well.
We will cover:
• Pushing your boundaries of speed and accuracy
• Drawing from concealment and dealing with malfunctions
• Shoot/No-Shoot decision making
• Weapon mounted vs. Handheld light use
• Mental preparation and how to persevere through injury
Prerequisites: you must be comfortable with safe gun handling, and a willingness to be physically active… you will be pushed to get out of your comfort zone. Email me if you have any questions, I’m here for you!
