LEVEL UP: Performance Carbine (CA)- 10/1/23
Location: Santa Clara County Shooting Sports Park, 9580 Malech Rd, San Jose, CA 95138
This isn’t your basic AR class…. this course is designed for shooters who already have a basic understanding of how their rifles work.
While we will touch on the fundamentals and confirm a good baseline for each shooter, my goal is to see you walk away with new skills as well as drills you can use in your own practice.
Getting decent with a carbine is easy, getting good takes focused effort, visual patience, and a proper training regimen. We will be focusing on movement, target transitions, and lots of barricades and positional work. I break down with you how I’m practicing in preparation for the Rifle World Shoot as well as dryfire and live-fire drills to get you good.
If that’s not enough for you, we will also be doing a Competitive Handgun course on Saturday! If you want to take both courses use code DoubleDownCA at checkout to take $50 total off your registration.
Topics we will cover:
- Body mechanics and making the carbine work for you
